Downloads and release routes

A cleaner release story, with fewer hidden routes.

This page should feel like a release dashboard. It shows what the public site already serves, what browser packages are staged, and which platform lanes exist in the repo even when their public links are not yet exposed on notekrypt.app.

Download lanes

Every route users might reasonably expect.

This page should make it obvious which install path belongs to which platform instead of hiding everything behind one vague download button.

Browser companion

Firefox and Chromium packages use their own manifest path. Safari is bundled inside the macOS app, and the current native-host fallback is for advanced cases only.

Mobile flow

iPhone and Android

Mobile Quick Fill does not depend on desktop browser extension packages. It uses iOS Password AutoFill and the Android Autofill service instead.

Store lanes in repo

Store-managed releases

The repository already contains documented release lanes for iOS TestFlight, Android Play, Mac App Store, and Microsoft Store, even if the launch site is not publishing every one of those links yet.

Platform notes

What exists now, and what is still waiting for public links.

The repository already includes release-lane work for direct desktop downloads, iOS TestFlight, Android Play, Mac App Store, and Microsoft Store paths. This site just is not exposing every one of those routes yet.

Release feed

The site already exposes app update metadata

The current public site ships the updater manifest and release notes that the direct desktop update flow reads.

Browser

Desktop browser packages are a separate track

Firefox and Chromium packages live behind the Browser Companion route, while Safari support ships inside the macOS app.

Mobile

iOS and Android use OS-native autofill paths

Mobile Quick Fill does not rely on browser extension packages. It plugs into iOS Password AutoFill and the Android Autofill service.

Stores

Store lanes exist even when public links are not live yet

The repo already contains release-lane docs for iOS TestFlight, Android Play, Mac App Store, and Microsoft Store flows.
