Quick Fill + web clip

Install the browser side of NoteKrypt

The Browser Companion relays Quick Fill and web clipping between your browser and the running NoteKrypt app on desktop. Mobile Quick Fill uses iOS Password AutoFill or the Android Autofill service instead of browser extension packages. Safari ships inside the macOS app. The Firefox and Chromium companions are still in private testing and are not distributed publicly from this site.

The native host bundle is optional for current public installs. Start with the browser package first, then use the host only if NoteKrypt Settings says the direct bridge needs a fallback.

Firefox
Private test build

We have a signed Firefox build for testers, but we are not linking it publicly from notekrypt.app right now.

Chrome / Edge / Brave
Private test build

Chromium browsers currently use an unpacked extension flow for testing. We are not publishing that bundle publicly from the launch site.

Safari
Bundled in the macOS app

No separate download. Open Safari Extensions from NoteKrypt Settings and enable NoteKrypt Browser Companion there.

Advanced fallback: Native host Optional

Notes

  • The Quick Fill shortcut is configured inside NoteKrypt, not inside the browser.
  • Mobile Quick Fill uses iOS Password AutoFill or the Android Autofill service instead of the desktop browser companion packages.
  • The native host bundle is not required for the normal Safari flow and is only a fallback if the desktop browser extension cannot use the direct local bridge.
